Intel® FPGA IPU Webinar 2022 (English Session) will showcase the new Silicom and Napatech Infrastructure Processing Units (IPUs). The event will give you the opportunity to explore them in detail through product demonstrations by experts.
If you are looking to adopt a fully virtualized storage and network architecture while maintaining high performance and predictability, register now to get started.
Silicom Solution Introduction
The Silicom IPU FPGA is an advanced data processing network interface controller, featuring cutting edge I/O and data processing capabilities, optimized for virtualized cloud, cloud native or bare metal virtualization. Completely implementing I/O (Network and Storage) workloads based on industry standard interfaces, the Silicom IPU is operated using stock virtio and NVMe drivers, implementing a true hardware virtio and NVMe PCIe interface. The IPU can be deployed as a virtio network accelerator, virtio storage accelerator, NVMe storage (network) controller and RDMA OFED controller, either separately or all at the same time.
Napatech Solution Introduction
Intel Infrastructure processing unit (IPU) solutions provide the world’s most advanced SmartNIC design, enabling data center operators in cloud, enterprise and telco networks to deliver high-powered, highly secure network and security applications, and services, at a low cost in cloud-native and virtual environments. In this session, learn how Napatech partners with Intel® on their IPU platforms to deliver high-performance, feature-rich, production-grade, high-quality, warranted and supported IPU software, with a high-velocity, agile software roadmap. This allows customers to benefit, while not having to take on the burden of in- house software development, bug-fixing, testing and roadmap planning.
