Mike leads new business ventures for Computer Vision and AI Software at Intel. He has responsibilities spanning numerous ventures, focusing on bringing new products to market for Intel and our partners. Previously, he was the EIR for the Intel Incubator - a venture studio focused on uncovering new markets for Intel in core and adjacent markets.

Previous to Intel, Mike was an EIR and Managing Director for a boutique tech Private Equity firm, working with founders and corporates to monetize assets and bring key new technologies to market.

Mike has extensive experience in video, telco, network, and security technology markets, and has run product and marketing organizations for some of the largest brands in the tech industry.


Eyal Rond

Eyal Rond

Group Manager, Vision Platform, IDI

Eyal Rond is currently the Lead Engineering and Product manager for the Vision Platform and Facial Authenticaion Group. Since joining Intel in 2011, Eyal has managed the AI and Computer Vision group leading Gesture Recognition and Face Authentication for the PC, along with sensing technolgy for robotics, HealthCare and CE ventures.

Eyal has vast experience in Software and AI, specializing in computer vision and holds a Computer Science degree from the Technion Israel Institute. Before joining Intel, Eyal led software development in video decoding, encoding and networking for the new standard for InfiniBand at Mellanox.

Joel leads the Intel® RealSense™ Marketing team, Product Management, and Customer Support teams. Joel joined Intel Corporation in 2018, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in leading teams focused on Product Management, Product Marketing, and Business Development. Before joining Intel, he served as an Executive Advisor to several startups, offering guidance in areas such as Cloud computing, SaaS AI, IoT and Digital Payments. He was VP of Product Line Management at Seagate Technology and VP of Marketing & Business Development for Toshiba’s Hard Drive and SSD Storage Products. Joel was also VP of Marketing & Business Development at Fujitsu building emerging market units in Storage, Biometrics, Healthcare and Digital Signage
